Milkweed Editions seeks an Engagement Coordinator to work in our Minneapolis, MN, headquarters. The Engagement Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be to manage events, to develop communications campaigns that inform and engage the individuals Milkweed Editions serves—including readers, authors, and donors—and to use contact management and fundraising databases to tend and grow relationships with these individuals.
A love of literature and affinity for the mission of Milkweed Editions are essential, and familiarity with the books we publish would be advantageous. Ideal candidates will have superior interpersonal and written communications skills, a knack for relationship building, a passion for planning dynamic and creative events, and will be comfortable working with an assortment of digital assets.
Minimum requirements include a four-year undergraduate degree. Experience with database management and event management are preferred. This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits. Compensation will be determined based on experience.
