Danielle Sosin

Danielle Sosin is a prose author based in Duluth, Minnesota. In 2003, she made a temporary move to the city to work on what would become her first novel, The Long-Shining Waters, and never left the Northland. Her short-story collection, Garden Primitives, was published by Coffee House Press in 2000. Sosin's fiction has been featured in the Alaska Quarterly Review and on National Public Radio.

“Like a camera's aperture set to blink just long enough to admit the exact amount of light for a perfect picture . . . [Sosin] captures unexpected moments of beauty and clarity.”

—New York Times Book Review
