Leila Wilson

Leila Wilson’s poems have appeared in Poetry, A Public Space, American Letters and Commentary, Denver Quarterly, Canary, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of a Friends of Literature Prize from the Poetry Foundation and an Academy of American Poets College Prize. She received her MFA from Indiana University and her MA from University of Chicago, where she served as an editor at Chicago Review. She works at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she runs the Writing Center and teaches creative writing, essay writing, and literature. She is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Chicago, where she teaches poetry. The Hundred Grasses is her first book.
