The Kentucky Great Writers Series presents Jeff Worley, John James (The Milk Hours), and Savannah Sipple.
The Kentucky Great Writers Series connects authors to readers and writers in an intimate atmosphere.
Each event starts at 6:00 pm with a 25-minute open-mic session to give the audience a chance to participate. At 6:30 the readings by featured authors will begin. Each author will read for 15-20 minutes from a work of their choice. After the readings, the audience will have the opportunity to purchase and have books signed by the authors.

John James
John James is the author of The Milk Hours, selected by Henri Cole as winner of the Max Ritvo Poetry Prize. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he is pursuing a PhD in English at the University of California, Berkeley.
This winner of the Max Ritvo Poetry Prize is an elegant debut that searches widely to ask what it means to exist in a state of loss.
