As part of the Loft’s Wordplay, presented by St. Catherine University and Star Tribune, join poet-songwriter Brian Laidlaw (The Mirrormaker) and vocalist-instrumentalist Ashley Hanson of the folk/Americana band The Family Trade for a virtual concert.
Laidlaw is the force behind the LP-poetry-chapbook Amoratorium, the book/album The Stuntman, and the new collection and album The Mirrormaker, which explores love, history and myth on Minnesota’s Iron Range.

Brian Laidlaw
Brian Laidlaw is the author of The Stuntman and The Mirrormaker. An accomplished musician, he has toured widely in the United States and Europe. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s MFA program in poetry and is currently pursuing a PhD in creative writing at the University of Denver.
