This fundraising event will celebrate the abundance of Anishinaabe Akiing (or Mother Earth) and support Indigenous movements to protect our land, water, wild rice, and traditional lifeways. Beth Dooley, author of In Winter's Kitchen, will share experiences with Minnesota food movements and demo a wild rice recipe in the Sprout kitchen.

At this event, the attendees are welcome to share their own stories of food developments, concerns, and histories unique to the region.
