After!

Before . . . and after! The Upper Midwest Literary Archives has processed hundreds of boxes of manuscript and book production material from Milkweed Editions. All of the materials have been arranged, folded, labeled, and inventoried for research use. These boxes contain original manuscript and production files for Being Esther, by Minnesota author Miriam Karme, Trace, by poet Eric Pankey, and The Colors of Nature, edited by Alison Hawthorne Deming and Lauret Savoy.

Keep an eye on Milkweed’s Instagram and Twitter on Thursdays for #throwbackthursday posts about our progress on the Prairie Poets project and interesting finds. Follow the #PrairiePoetsUMN hashtag to see all the posts related to the project. Stay tuned!
