Lee Oglesby is the managing editor at Milkweed Editions. Prior to joining Milkweed in 2019, she worked as a freelance editor with publishers and independent authors around the country. Before that, she was a developmental editor at Oxford University Press, publishing resources for scholars of environmental science. She studied English and Spanish at Amherst College, where she developed an interest in literary translation.

I work at Milkweed because the relationships that writers build with their readers on the page have the power to heal and inspire meaningful change. I love helping to cultivate that relationship and share ideas that deserve to be read.
