Dorianne Laux

Dorianne Laux is a Pulitzer Prize finalist and the author of twelve collections of poems, including Only As the Day is Long: New and Selected Poems, Facts About the Moon, and The Book of Men. A textbook, Finger Exercises for Poets, and a new book of poems, Life on Earth, are both forthcoming in 2024. She is a founding faculty member of Pacific University’s low-residency MFA program and a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets. She lives in Richmond, California.
