Expanding the reach and impact of our books

At Milkweed Editions we aspire to increase the impact of all of the books we publish by connecting books with readers who may not otherwise get them. We do this work through thoughtful partnership. We also partner with organizations working in alignment with our goals of expanding the possibilities of nature writing and changing the way readers see and act in the world.

Some of our current partners include Little Free Library, Firstbook.org, Women’s Prison Book Project, and the Lupine Collaborative. If you are interested in underwriting partnership work like this or book donations to partners serving underserved communities, or to learn more about our work with these partners, please contact Jane Townsend, jane@townsend@milkweed.org, 612-215-2556.
