Join Helen Whybrow and Shilpi Suneja at the Concord Art Center for the inaugural Independent Press Prose Reading Series. An introduction of the press and its mission will be followed by a reading and discussion of their works. Books will be available for purchase through the Concord Bookshop.
Helen Whybrow
Helen Whybrow is the author of A Man Apart and Dead Reckoning. She is also the editor of the anthologies Hearth and Coming to Land in a Troubled World.
Shilpi Suneja
Shilpi Suneja is the author of House of Caravans. Born in India, her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and published in Guernica, McSweeney’s, Cognoscenti, and the Michigan Quarterly Review.
