Parnassus Books and Harpeth Hall are thrilled to present a special evening with Margaret Renkl to celebrate her new book, The Comfort of Crows. She will be joined by her brother, Billy Renkl who created 52 beautiful, four-color artworks for the book, and they will be in conversation with Ann Patchett. This event will take place in the Frances Bond Davis Theater at Harpeth Hall School.
Each ticket is $3.00 and includes one general admission seat. Signed copies of The Comfort of Crows will be available for purchase on-site, and there will be a signing line for personalizations following the event on stage. Margaret will also sign copies of Late Migrations and Graceland, At Last (now out in paperback!).
Margaret Renkl
Margaret Renkl is the author of Graceland, At Last: Notes on Hope and Heartache From the American South and Late Migrations: A Natural History of Love and Loss. She is a contributing opinion writer for the New York Times, where her essays appear weekly. Her work has also appeared in Guernica, Literary Hub, Proximity, and River Teeth, among others. The founding editor of Chapter 16, a daily literary publication of Humanities Tennessee, and a graduate of Auburn University and the University of South Carolina, she lives in Nashville.
