Join White Whale Books in mid-summer to welcome Margaret Renkl, on tour for her book of essays, Late Migrations. She is a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times, where her essays appear weekly. The founding editor of Chapter 16, a daily literary publication of Humanities Tennessee, and a graduate of Auburn University and the University of South Carolina, she lives in Nashville. Late Migrations is an engaging, complicated, and bittersweet portrait of a family, braided with observations about the natural world outsider her suburban Nashville home.
