Get to know the 2019 Minnesota Book Awards finalists as authors from each category participate in panel discussions about their work. Wilder by Claire Wahmanholm is a finalist in the poetry category. This free public event is presented with the University of Minnesota Libraries.
Light hors d’oeuvres will be served during the reception with cash bar available, and finalist books will be available for purchase.
The winners of the 2019 Minnesota Book Awards will be announced at the Ceremony on Saturday, April 6, at the InterContinental Hotel in downtown Saint Paul.

Claire Wahmanholm
Claire Wahmanholm is the author of Meltwater, Redmouth, and Wilder, which won the Lindquist & Vennum Prize for Poetry and the Society of Midland Authors Award for Poetry, and was a finalist for the 2019 Minnesota Book Award.
