The editors of The Adroit Journal are thrilled to welcome you to a reading celebrating the release of our thirty-fourth issue. Readers include issue contributors Jos Charles, Jordan Jace, Yalie Kamara, David Naimon, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Alicia Suskin Ostriker, and Diane Seuss. The reading will be hosted on Zoom by Peter LaBerge, founder and editor-in-chief of The Adroit Journal.
Any donations accompanying RSVP to this event will be donated to Artist Relief, a national coalition that works to support artists facing financial hardship during the COVID-19 crisis.
Aimee Nezhukumatathil
Aimee Nezhukumatathil is the author of World of Wonders, an illustrated essay collection, as well as of four books of poetry, including, most recently, Oceanic, winner of the Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters Award. She serves as poetry faculty for the Writing Workshops in Greece and is professor of English and Creative Writing in the University of Mississippi’s MFA program.
Jos Charles
Jos Charles is the author of a Year & other poems and feeld, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and Los Angeles Times Book Prize and winner of the 2017 National Poetry Series, selected by Fady Joudah.
