With excitement, Bird in Hand announces this hometown event for poet and professor Lauren Russell’s new poetry collection, A Window That Can Neither Open Nor Close: Poems, Plots, Chance! Fellow poets Soham Patel and Lillian-Yvonne Bertram will join to read alongside Russell in this celebratory evening.

Join author Rebecca Spiegel in conversation with writer Chase Culler about Without Her. There will be a discussion and a book signing to follow.

Join Heidi Barr (Minnesota author of Collisions of Earth and Sky & 12 Tiny Things), Chris La Tray (Montana’s Poet Laureate and author of Becoming Little Shell), and Krissy Kludt (Wisconsin-based director of Writing the Wild) on Monday, October 21st at 6:30pm as they discuss Stories from the Trail, a new anthology about moving through wild spaces and share more stories and readings from recent work.
