Anna Thorsen

Anna Thorsen is Senior Advancement Officer at Milkweed Editions. Before joining Milkweed in 2021, she served in a number of development roles at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Walker Art Center and most recently directed the Art Institute’s planned giving program. Anna earned her MA in Irish history at Queen’s University Belfast and her BA in English at Carleton College.

I work at Milkweed because literature is an essential artform, and Milkweed provides its authors the support they need to produce great art. I am honored to help grow Milkweed’s community of donors so that it can continue to build its valuable collection.
