Jenara Nerenberg is a publicity consultant for Milkweed Editions. A producer and literary agent, Jenara is also the author of Divergent Mind, creator of The Neurodiversity Project & The Interracial Project, and founder of Divergent Literary, a full-service literary agency representing neurodivergent authors and allies. Raised in San Francisco, she is a graduate of UC Berkeley and Harvard and spent six years as a foreign correspondent in Asia, reporting for CNN, Fast Company and elsewhere. Her bestselling author interview series occur live in person, sometimes on Instagram, and appear in print at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good and the Garrison Institute, featuring Roxane Gay, Pico Iyer, Omid Safi, Darnell Moore, Gabor Mate, Steve Silberman, Roshi Joan Halifax, Sundance’s Kamal Sinclair, angel Kyodo williams, Netflix’s Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Krista Tippett and others.
