Katie Hill is the Vice President, Engagement & Chief Innovation Officer at Milkweed Editions. Prior to joining Milkweed Editions in 2021, she worked in communications, digital strategy, and public engagement at art museums for over a decade. Katie launched her career in innovation as creator of the first Internet Cat Video Film Festival at the Walker Art Center in 2012. She then moved on to help launch the practice of audience engagement at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, where she headed the Engagement Strategy department and oversaw the marketing operation. She earned a BA in English Language and Literature from Kenyon College, and an MA in Art History from The University of St. Thomas.
