Madi McLaughlin

Madi McLaughlin is our engagement coordinator. Prior to joining our team in January of 2023, she worked as a Street Outreach Navigator and Program Manager where she served our houseless neighbors in Minneapolis and St Paul. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she holds a BS in Organizational Communications with a Minor in Sustainability from the University of Portland. She is an elevator conversationalist who finds the most value in the work of those who have been pushed to the margins. She is a lover of art in all its forms — a poet, a potter, and a proud permaculture gardener.

I work at Milkweed because I believe language constitutes the world we live in. Storytelling is a connective force that creates impactful windows of opportunity for change.
