Madi McLaughlin

Madi McLaughlin is our engagement coordinator. Prior to joining our team she worked as a Street Outreach Navigator and Program Manager where she served our houseless neighbors in Minneapolis and St Paul. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she holds a BS in Organizational Communications with a Minor in Sustainability from the University of Portland. She is an elevator conversationalist who finds the most value in novels and work being done by those who have been pushed to the margins. She is a lover of art in all its forms — a poet, a potter, and a proud member of the Twin City Women’s Choir auditioned ensemble ENCORE!

I work at Milkweed because I believe language constitutes the world we live in. Storytelling is a connective force that creates impactful windows of opportunity for change.
