Brenda Hillman

Brenda Hillman is the award-winning author of eleven books from Wesleyan University Press, the most recent of which is In a Few Minutes Before Later. Editor and co-translator of more than twenty volumes of poetry and prose, Hillman is a former chancellor at the Academy of American Poets and professor emerita at Saint Mary’s College of California. She directs the Poetry Program at Community of Writers and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband Robert Hass.
