Jessica White is an Australian academic in the field of literature as well as a writer of novels, memoir, and essays. Her hybrid memoir Hearing Maud won the Michael Crouch Award for Debut Biography and was shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Award and the Queensland Literary Award. Her novel A Curious Intimacy won a Sydney Morning Herald Best Young Novelist Award, was shortlisted for the Western Australia Premier’s and Dobbie Literary awards, and was longlisted for the Dublin Literary Award. She holds a PhD from the University of London and lives in Adelaide, Australia.
