Melissa Ginsburg is the author of two novels, two poetry collections, and three poetry chapbooks. She is the winner of the Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters Poetry award and was named the Inaugural South Arts Mississippi State Fellow for Literary Arts. Her poems have appeared in the anthologies A Century of Poetry in the New Yorker and Attached to the Living World: A New Ecopoetry Anthology, and in The New Yorker, Image, Guernica, Kenyon Review, Fence, Southwest Review, and other magazines. The Director of Graduate Creative Writing Programs and an associate professor of English at the University of Mississippi, she lives in Oxford.
