Guests Martha Collins (Night Unto Night, 2018) and Angie Estes will present ‘‘A Poetry Reading in Celebration of 50 years of the Oberlin College Press and FIELD magazine.‘‘

Martha Collins served as Pauline Delaney Professor and Chair of Creative Writing at Oberlin from 1997 to 2007, and she has been an associate editor of FIELD magazine for many years. Collins has published nine books of poetry, most recently Night Unto Night (Milkweed, 2018) and Admit One: An American Scrapbook (Pittsburgh, 2016), as well four volumes of co-translated Vietnamese poetry. Because What Else Could I Do is forthcoming in the Pitt Poetry Series in September 2019.

Angie Estes’ books of poetry published by Oberlin College Press have received numerous awards. Her fifth book of poetry, Enchantée (Oberlin, 2013), won the prestigious Kingsley Tufts Poetry Prize, and Tryst (Oberlin, 2009), was selected as one of two finalists for the 2010 Pulitzer Prize. Her second book, Voice-Over (Oberlin, 2002), won the FIELD Poetry Prize and was also awarded the Alice Fay di Castagnola Prize from the Poetry Society of America. Her most recent book, Parole, was published by Oberlin College Press in 2018.
