Chris La Tray, Montana’s current Poet Laureate and a member of the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians, will be on hand for an exciting presentation and book signing.
La Tray, a Metís storyteller, is author of a number of books, including One-Sentence Journal: Short Poems, Essays from the World at Large, and Becoming Little Shell.
This program is part of the Montana Poets Laureate program from Humanities Montana and coincides with American Prairie’s Annual Indigenous Peoples Celebration.
