Scott Chaskey is the author of Soil and Spirit. His poetry, first printed in literary journals in the early seventies, has been widely published over four decades. A pioneer of the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) movement, for thirty years he cultivated more than sixty crops for the Peconic Land Trust at Quail Hill Farm in Amagansett, New York, one of the original CSAs in the country.
Smith Creative Writers Reading Series is pleased to present Kathy Fagan to read as a Fall 2022 reader.

The Creative Writers Reading Series is produced by Penn State Behrend’s B.F.A. in Creative Writing degree program with support from the Clarence A. and Eugenie Baumann Smith Fund.
Join authors Chris Martin, Autumn Brown, and Chiara Francesca Galimberti for an evening of liberatory literature from three writers whose complex lives resonate along lines of artistry, parenthood, joy, and justice. Together, these writers will read on immigration, poetry and neurodivergence, grief, and healing, with each pathway braiding a new trail toward collective belonging.
